Here at Armcom, we're proud to showcase our latest venture, the
Nene Park Trust website.
Armcom prevailed against four other agencies to undertake a
redesign for the Trust, who currently manage a number of diverse
parklands and habitats in Peterborough - Ferry Meadows, the
agricultural estate at Ailsworth, Castor and Sutton, the Orton Mere
and Woodston parks and Thorpe Meadows.
Nene Park Trust aims '... to provide for the recreation to the
public by the provision of a park for the benefit of the
inhabitants of Peterborough and visitors with the object of
improving the conditions of life for such persons'.
One of main features of the Trust's new website is the inclusion
of the interactive map. We worked with the Google Maps API to
enable the client to geocode the location of useful or pertinent
sites within the park, including various and assorted leisure
points, guest accommodation, as well as cafes and restaurants
situated within or close to the Park.
