ACO
Brief
Design Agency was invited to tender for this project, along with a number of other agencies. Subsequently, ACO chose Design Agency to undertake the project.
As industry leaders, draining systems and corrosion-resistant building product specialists, ACO were looking for a comprehensive website redesign and development to emphasise their premier position within the building drainage systems field. ACO were also keen for us to build a website that could be fully content managed, with simplified navigation.
Solution
Our initial research revealed that ACO has an extensive range of products, which contributed significantly to the large volume of content within the site. We built a custom Content Management System that would enable ACO to efficiently manage and update the site's products, blog and information/services pages via an easy-to-use user interface and WYSIWYG editor.
The old website was also in need of an extensive reorganisation to enhance the user's experience. Along with an integrated Distributer Stockists listing, we set about restructuring the website to improve navigation and product categorisation. We also and created a simply, streamlined route for ACO's customers to obtain the product information downloads available via the site, as well as a login area to enable ACO customers to download CAD drawings.
