As with all our websites and web apps wireframing is the part that allowed Kawasaki and the Design Agency team to discover all the content and features that are needed to make the user experience perfect.

Interactive Walkthrough

Once we signed off the Wireframes we began pulling all the brand guidelines and design team together. As with all our projects we provide our customers with rich interactive design walkthroughs using InVision. This allowed Kawasaki to view and engage with the website almost in the same way once the site is finished.

All of the content for the website needed to be made available and manageable in Umbraco, with 24+ languages we took the pain out of managing 24 versions of the same file by utilising the ISO codes at the end of each file. This automatically created a dropdown menu for the end user to easily choose the correct language.

Customer Support Portal

A secure login area was created that displays relevant content to specific users. These include; Important Bulletins, 25,000 pdf library of technical downloads, Marketing downloads, a Merchandise store and much more.

Also integrated into the website was the ability for customer to purchase items through an ecommerce module fully integrated into Umbraco (Of course).

Umbraco Content Management

While developing the Kawasaki website in Umbraco we created some awesome Umbraco controls and packages that we are currently releasing into the amazing Umbraco community.

Campaign Monitor Integration

At DA we love Campaign Monitor so when Kawasaki asked us to integrate all the Umbraco members information, we jumped at the chance. All user information is seamlessly kept in sync between Umbraco and Campaign Monitor by some development wizardry.
